Cake Designers World Championship FIP/Host Fiera Milano 26/27 October 2015

The International Federation of Pastry, Ice Cream and Chocolate is an association that has as its purpose professional training, the organization of events, fairs and the promotion and development of the confectionary industry.

The Federation collaborates abroad with a network of professionals and delegates in that sector from the territory and present in every country in the world.
The most important events on an international level that the International Federation of Pastry, Ice Cream and Chocolate organizes are:

  • The World Trophy of Pastry, Ice Cream and Chocolate
  • Cake Designers World Championship

The two World Championships will take place every two years at the Fiera di Milano, during l’Host 2015 from 23 rd to 27 th October concurrently at the EXPO 2015 . Teams from all over the world will participate to exert themselves with taste and artistic tests. In 2015 Italy will be the centre stage at the international level  and will be counting on the arrival of 20 million visitors in Milan for the EXPO. The EXPO 2015 will be an extraordinary, universal event, which will give insight to the tradition, creativity and innovation in the food sector, gathering issues already developed in the previous editions of this event and reproposing in the light  of new global scenarios at the centre of which is the theme of the right to healthy and safe eating for the whole planet.

In this sense, the organization intends to highlight not just art and taste in the World Championships but, above all, the ingredients and the companies who work with the principals of quality.
